Our AI features analyze your health data locally on your device
No personal health data is sent to external AI services without your explicit consent

If any AI processing requires sending data to third-party services, we will clearly disclose this and obtain your explicit permission before doing so

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Local Storage

All health data is stored locally on your device
Data is encrypted using Apple's built-in encryption standards (AES-256)
iCloud sync (if enabled by you) uses Apple's end-to-end encryption

5.2 Security Measures

AES-256 encryption for data at rest
TLS 1.3 for any data transmission
Biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) support
Automatic session timeout after inactivity
No health data retention on our servers

5.3 What We Store on Our Servers

We do not maintain servers that store your personal health data. The only information processed through Apple's systems includes:

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

6.1 We DO NOT:

7. Your Rights and Controls

7.1 You Have the Right To:

7.3 Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app:

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account
Confirm your decision
All local data will be permanently removed

Note: Deleting the app also removes all locally stored data. Subscription cancellation must be done separately through your Apple ID settings.

8. Subscription and Payment Privacy

8.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, process, or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.).

8.2 Subscription Data

We receive only:

Confirmation that you have an active subscription
Subscription tier (Monthly or Annual)
Anonymized transaction identifiers

8.3 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

9. Children's Privacy

MAI PLEXOS is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

For users aged 13-17, we recommend parental guidance when using health tracking applications.

10. Data Retention

Health data is retained only on your device under your control
You control all data deletion through app settings
Uninstalling the app removes all local data
Support correspondence is retained for 2 years, then deleted
Anonymized analytics are retained for 12 months

11. International Data Transfers

As all health data is stored locally on your device, no international transfers of your health data occur unless you explicitly share or export your data. If you contact support, your communication may be processed in Estonia (EU), which maintains GDPR-compliant data protection standards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you of any material changes through:

In-app notifications
App Store update notes
Prominent notice within the app

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
