What is MAI Anew?

MAI Anew is a wellness tracking and pain management application that helps you monitor health metrics, track pain patterns, log medications, and practice meditation. It's designed to help you better understand your health over time and share insights with your healthcare providers.

Is MAI Anew a medical device?

No. MAI Anew is a general wellness product, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice and decisions.

What subscription plans are available?

MAI Anew offers two Premium subscription options:

  • Monthly Premium: $6.99 USD per month
  • Annual Premium: $59.99 USD per year (save 29%)

New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. The Free Tier includes basic pain tracking, weekly reports, and 3 days of introductory meditation content.

Where is my data stored?

All your health data is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Your data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. If you enable iCloud backup, Apple's encryption protects your data. You have full control over your data at all times.

Does the app share my data with third parties?

No. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Your health data is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent. The only sharing that occurs is when you choose to export and share your reports.

How to Manage or Cancel Your Subscription

Cancel or Change Your Subscription

Your subscription is managed through Apple. To cancel or modify your subscription:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top (Apple ID)
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find and tap MAI Anew
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription or choose a different plan

Important: To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. After canceling, you'll retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.

Request a Refund

All payments are processed by Apple. To request a refund:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find the MAI Anew purchase
  4. Select "Request a refund" and follow the instructions

We do not process refunds directly — all refund requests must go through Apple.

How to Delete Your Account

Delete Your Account and Data

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app:

  1. Open MAI Anew
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

This will permanently delete all your local data. Note that deleting the app from your device also removes all locally stored data.

Important: Account deletion does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription separately through your Apple ID settings before or after deleting your account.

Export Your Data Before Deletion

Before deleting your account, you may want to export your data:

  1. Open MAI Anew
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Export Data
  4. Choose PDF or CSV format
  5. Save or share your exported data

Under GDPR and other privacy regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (right to be forgotten)
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Restrict processing of your data
  • Object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time

We will respond to privacy requests within 30 days as required by GDPR.
